Cecilia Huerta
Born and raised in Central Illinois, Cecilia grew up in a family deeply rooted in the performing arts. Her grandmother was a dance teacher, while her grandfather was a singer and guitarist who later inspired Cecilia’s father to pursue his own passion for musical theater.
From an early age, Cecilia trained in dance and voice while performing in local community theater productions. She later expanded her artistic background by training in aerial arts. After earning her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, Cecilia moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona, where she taught dance and yoga to students of all ages while also performing professionally throughout the East Valley.
In the summer of 2025, Cecilia fulfilled her lifelong dream of moving to New York City. Soon after arriving, she participated in Mary Setrakian’s “Triple Threat” Workshop, making her NYC and Off-Broadway debut at the Triad Theatre in Mary’s student showcase. Following her debut, Cecilia was invited to perform in Stonewall Inn’s monthly “All Stars” showcase, where she performs everything from Broadway classics to pop favorites. She has since been honored to perform at other iconic venues in NYC such as Don’t Tell Mama and Theatre Row on 42nd Street.
In addition to performing, Cecilia currently teaches ballet and yoga at StillCore NYC, a new studio in Midtown. She looks forward to continuing growth as both an artist and educator through new creative and performance opportunities.
